" I’ve been coming to New Mandarin for years and I’ve grown increasingly disappointed. The quality has varied on different visits, and some of the dishes lack the seasoning that made me fall in love with it initially. Recently, the duck wasn’t as tender, and the dim sum seemed smaller than before. I hope they can maintain the high standard they once had because it’s such a delightful restaurant. Service remains friendly though. " (*Curated Review*)
" This is hands down the best place for seafood dim sum in Vancouver! The dishes are beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We had an amazing experience with every dish we tried, particularly the scallop dumplings and the crispy chicken feet. The restaurant was busy but the service was incredibly attentive. I would suggest making a reservation as it fills up quickly! Can't wait to return to try more dishes! " (*Curated Review*)
" Great dining experience! I really enjoyed the variety of options on the menu. The ambiance is chic, making it a great place for special gatherings. However, it would be nice to have more consistently flavored dishes. I'd recommend it overall for a good night out. " (*Curated Review*)
" I had a lovely evening at New Mandarin. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and I loved the creativity behind some of the dishes. The dessert options are particularly cute, and the flavors were delightful. Service was polite and efficient, making the entire experience a pleasure. I’ll likely return. " (*Curated Review*)
" My experience at New Mandarin was a mixed bag. The food was delicious, no doubt, but I found the service lacking during our visit. We waited quite some time to place our order and it felt like the staff were stretched thin. The atmosphere was nice though, and the food made up for some of the service issues. " (*Curated Review*)
" Came for dim sum with the family based on glowing reviews, and it did not disappoint! The menu is extensive, and the food was incredibly flavorful. I loved the dessert options they had—especially the piggy buns. The staff are well trained, though a bit stiff at times. Still, I would recommend it for anyone who loves good seafood. " New Mandarin has a great atmosphere with unique decor. I especially enjoyed their innovative dishes. The duck was my favorite; it was succulent and full of flavor. Their service was friendly, though a bit on the slower side. If you're looking for a quality dining experience, this place is definitely worth it. " (*Curated Review*)
